Control Tower Field Quality Engineer's are responsible for leading and managing the resolution of warranty issues, with anemphasis on problem-solving, root cause analysis, and validation. This role requires a proactiveapproach to tackling quality concerns, driving improvements, and ensuring the efficientresolution of warranty-related issues. They will work closely with dealers,suppliers, and internal teams to confirm issues, propose solutions, and track progress indelivering resolutionsThis position requires knowledge expertise in one or more of the following advanced electronicssystems areas: Power Distribution,Starting & Charging, and Wiring.
Key Responsibilities:
? Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (product development, supplier quality,and manufacturing) to implement corrective actions.
? Comfortable leading complex electrical component & systems problem root cause analysis
? Conduct vehicle reviews as necessary at offsite locations, such as engineering centers, dealers, and assembly plants, to identify and confirm the root cause
? Responsible for proposing solutions, validating their effectiveness, and monitoringprogress to ensure timely resolution
? Ensure that relevant service actions are defined and implemented to resolve warrantyissues, including Parts Purge, Service Bulletins, Tech Tips, Rapid Service Updates, andmore
? Adopt a lessons-learned mindset to apply insights across vehicle applications, ensuringthey are shared throughout the Stellantis vehicle landscape to proactively prevent issuesin future vehicle models
? Provide regular updates on warranty-related quality issues, progress on GIMs, andresolution status at necessary quality and leadership meetings.
