Job Title: Workday Reporting Lead

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Workday Reporting Senior Consultant with a strong background in project management and Workday reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have started their career managing projects and later transitioned into a hands-on Workday Reporting role. This position requires strong experience in Workday reporting, analytics, stakeholder management, and delivering reporting solutions across business functions.
The candidate will work closely with business users, HR teams, and technical teams to design, develop, and optimize Workday reports while managing project activities and timelines.
Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of overall IT/business experience with strong project management background.
Must have prior experience working as a Project Manager / Project Lead managing enterprise applications or HR technology projects.
Strong hands-on experience with Workday Reporting, including:
· Custom Reports
· Advanced Reports
· Matrix Reports
· Composite Reports
· Calculated Fields
· Report Writer
· Workday Worksheets / Dashboards
· Experience gathering business requirements and converting them into Workday reporting solutions.
· Strong understanding of Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Absence, Recruiting preferred).
· Experience managing reporting enhancements, testing, deployment, and production support.
· Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and offshore/onshore teams.
· Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
· Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project delivery processes.
Responsibilities:
· Lead Workday reporting initiatives from requirement gathering through delivery.
· Manage project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
· Design, build, test, and deploy Workday reports and dashboards.
· Partner with HR and business teams to understand reporting needs.
· Provide recommendations for reporting improvements and automation.
· Troubleshoot reporting issues and provide production support.
· Maintain documentation for reporting solutions and processes.
· Support Workday releases and regression testing activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Workday Reporting Certification preferred.
· Experience working in large enterprise environments.
· Experience supporting Workday implementations, enhancements, or post-production support.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
