Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative leader to manage the Program Quality function within the Journey Experience (JX) organization, a team responsible for driving excellence across our digital strategy, product delivery, and member experience platforms. In this role, you will help ensure that our digital initiatives operate with clarity, consistency, and measurable impact by strengthening operating processes, governance, and performance visibility across teams. As a trusted partner to product and program leaders, you will guide the adoption of quality frameworks, facilitate key decision checkpoints, and provide insights that help teams deliver high-quality digital products and capabilities with greater transparency, discipline, and accountability.

Engagement details

  • Schedule: Hours 8AM to 5PM.
  • Location: Hybrid preferred local consultant residing in Oakland, CA. Currently 2 days in office.
  • Visa Requirements: H1B and other visa types are accepted as long as no sponsorship is needed.
  • Start Date: based on when ideal candidates are identified.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent. Leadership and project management; experience translating strategy into enforceable processes across teams.
  • Product Development Professional category with higher level of expertise, with a preference for candidates who have 7+ years of relevant experience.

  • Product development concepts, practices, standards and processes across teams. 
  • Research, collection, and analysis of targeted information to determine product options or alternatives. 
  • Organization and project/program management practices to plan, track, and deliver work.
  • Use of Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools in daily work. 
  • Use of AI and automation technologies to foster organizational and business process change.
  • Validation frameworks application across teams for journey analysis and redesign. 
  • Technical feasibility oversight by translating strategy into enforceable deliverables. 
  • System readiness and reliability validation by overseeing consistent applications. 
  • UAT and regression testing by ensuring cross-team adoption. 
  • KPI stewardship by standardizing approaches and targets. 
  • Post-release review consistency across teams. 
  • Root cause program by enforcing framework use and action closure. 
  • Risk and issue tracking by monitoring adoption and results. 
  • Ecosystem impact oversight by monitoring dependencies. 
  • Audit, compliance, and privacy review by overseeing processes.
