Summary

We are looking for Packaging Technician 2 for our client in Ridgefield, NJ
Job Title: Packaging Technician 2
Job Location: Ridgefield, NJ
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $25hr - $30hr

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and visual inspection of pre-filled syringes according to established quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate batch records, logs, and documentation in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry for all batch-related activities.
  • Verify accuracy of staged components prior to packaging operations.
  • Identify inspection failures and promptly report issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct material and syringe reconciliation during inspection and packaging processes.
  • Support packaging operations in alignment with production schedules.
  • Operate within a fast-paced, semi-automated packaging line environment.
  • Perform daily safety walkthroughs and report findings to management.
  • Utilize computer systems for data entry, reporting, and training activities.
  • Meet established quality, safety, and efficiency targets.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintain cleanliness of production areas.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist during line changeovers.
  • Support line leader with daily operational activities and production goals.
  • Assist with non-conformance investigations and corrective actions.
  • Ensure all required training is completed and up to date.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding daily performance and activities.

Required Skills And Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3 4 years of experience in manufacturing, inspection, or packaging operations.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Experience with production inspection and packaging processes.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with semi-automated packaging equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Good vision (correctable to 20/20).
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime as needed.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with strong initiative.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes.
