Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with Solace experience to design, develop, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Solace PubSub+, and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), with expertise in building scalable backend services and asynchronous messaging solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build event-driven architectures and integrate microservices using Solace PubSub+ message brokers.
  • Configure publisher/subscriber models and implement direct and guaranteed messaging.
  • Develop and maintain secure, high-performance RESTful APIs supporting synchronous and asynchronous data delivery.
  • Optimize application performance, JVM memory allocation, and message payload structures to meet high-throughput and low-latency requirements.
  • Implement resilient message retry mechanisms, Dead Letter Queues (DLQ), and error-handling pipelines.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments through Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable cloud-native applications.
Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java development, including multi-threading, concurrency patterns, and Java Memory Model.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate/JPA.
  • Deep expertise in Solace PubSub+ / Solace MQ and messaging middleware.
  • Strong understanding of Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and asynchronous messaging patterns.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ is highly preferred.
  • Strong experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch and MongoDB.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code is an added advantage.
