Summary

TITLE= Lead QA Automation with Retail Client Experience

LOCATION- Akron, OH MUST BE LOCAL Hybrid Onsite Role

DURATION- 6 MONTHS

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts and automation engineers.
Define and execute the enterprise test automation strategy.
Establish QA standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
Collaborate with IT, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within QA processes.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks (UI, API, database, integration).
Implement CI/CD-integrated test automation pipelines.
Ensure regression, performance, and system integration testing coverage.
Validate integrations between ERP, MES, PLM, WMS, and shop floor systems.
Lead test planning, test case design, and defect management activities.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality requirements.
Participate in system upgrades, plant rollouts, and digital transformation initiatives.
Ensure adherence to ISO, GMP (if applicable), or other regulatory standards.
Drive root cause analysis and defect prevention practices.
Develop QA metrics and reporting dashboards for leadership visibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of QA experience with 3+ years in automation.
2+ years of leadership or team lead experience.
Experience working within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong experience with:

Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools
API automation (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
SQL and database validation

Experience testing ERP/MES systems.
Knowledge of PLC/SCADA integration testing.
Familiarity with IoT and Industry 4.0 environments.

Performance testing experience (JMeter, LoadRunner).
