Summary

JOB DUTIES: Understanding the Business use cases; Design, develop, and maintain projects using Java and Python; Work with Snowflake and Postgres databases to optimize data storage and retrieval; Develop and maintain DBT models for data transformation and loading; Build and maintain REST APIs using Spring Framework; Write unit tests using JUnit and integration tests using Mockito; Containerize applications using Docker; Develop and manage Airflow DAGs for workflow management; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements; Work in an Agile environment, using Scrum methodology, to deliver high-quality software solutions; Manage and optimize data storage in Amazon S3 cloud storage; Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards. May telecommute from any home office throughout the U.S.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in software development.

3 years of experience to include:

1. Developing Java based RESTful microservices;

2. Ensuring software quality using unit and integration tests;

3. Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines utilizing Maven and Jenkins;

4. Using SQL to retrieve, transform, and persist the data; and

5. Using Git to interact with source control systems for source code management.

1 year of experience to include:

6. Using ORM technologies including Hibernate to interact with databases ;

7. Utilizing caching technologies including Redis to provide low latency services and to optimize the user experience; and

8. Using NoSql datastores including Mongo/Dynamo to develop highly available distributed systems.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Company's Bonus plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. The Company maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect the Company's differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

Annual Salary: $136,175.00 - $189,626.00

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee's home location.
