Administrative and Engineering activities related to the development of multiple, simultaneous Network infrastructure projects. Review and approve mount analyses, structural analyses and construction drawings to redline for any necessary revisions. Confirmation of completed work. Demonstrate professionalism by responding to e-mails promptly, actively participating in meetings, ability to explain issues clearly, providing updates, maintaining records, working with other departments, and understanding the impact of their job to the overall business. Interface with internal and external departments in the pursuit of building permits, construction inspections, and by finally obtaining certificates of occupancy for network facilities. Previous Wireless experience is preferred.
JOB DUTIES: Reviewing cell site modification project mount analyses, structural analyses and construction drawings for accuracy for general contractors to use when building a site. The Engineer will perform work and/or direct, monitor, and report on the progress of third party vendors in performing site inspections, file audits, structural analysis, design and construction drawings, ability to review technical document such as: develop bill of materials, review construction drawings, review equipment specification documents, and approve project closeout packages, and other miscellaneous modifications at existing macro and small cell sites.
- Work independently and effectively organize and prioritize multiple competing projects.
- Populate and maintain project tracking databases; draft correspondence and business case justifications; complete project-related or site-related forms; and manage site documentation and record keeping.
- Select and manage third party vendors.
- Provide financial management of projects from initial quote through receipt of final services.
- Collaborate with other internal departments including RF Engineering, Construction, Transport, Project Management, Network Assurance, Regulatory,
- Interface with landlords and governmental agencies.
- Demonstrate professionalism by promptly responding to e-mails and phone calls, actively participating in meetings, clearly explaining issues, providing updates, and maintaining records.
- Interpret and understand policies and procedures and effectively communicate them to third party vendors.
MUST HAVE SKILLS: The preferred candidate must have demonstrated in previous roles, strong organizational skills and an ability to operate in positions requiring significant self-direction and motivation. Previous wireless infrastructure construction experience.
DESIRED SKILLS: Excellent communication skills, able to interact with Network engineering team, ability to work effectively on their own and work well under tight deadlines. Able to effectively work on multiple projects at a time. Must be organized. Must be able to identify short and long-term goals to achieve overall team/company objectives.
