Job Summary & Responsibilities ONTO Innovation is seeking a Product Manager for their Metrology Business Unit (MBU) products to promote the development of complex semiconductor processing equipment. The successful candidate will work with a cross-functional team to manage the health of the Metrology Business Unit products and will drive CIP and next generation product initiatives. Major responsibilities include developing product strategy (including specifications and roadmaps), coordinating product life cycle initiatives, and tracking product health.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Cross-functional engagement with account managers, engineering, operations, and executive leadership
- Manage and own PLC gate reviews
- Develop PRDs for new products
- Assist Technical Account Managers (TAMs) in specification reviews
- Prioritize engineering projects based on field input and internal resource availability
- Work closely with Project Management
This role has significant and measurable impact on the success of the Metrology Business Unit. The successful candidate should possess strong analytical and creative thinking skills to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
Must be able to travel internationally to customer sites at least 20% of the time, with additional travel as business needs require.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an engineering or similar discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Material Science, Physics, or related) and a minimum of 3 years of experience; or advanced degree required. Must be comfortable interpreting engineering drawings, system block diagrams, electrical schematics, engineering specifications, and manufacturing requirements.

- Strong interpersonal skills; Especially presentation and story-telling skills
- Leader and motivator of personnel
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Semiconductor/Semiconductor capital equipment experience is strongly preferred. Experience with Inspection and Metrology a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% as required

Compensation & Growth Base Salary Range:
$115,200.00 - $172,800.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
