Summary

Cybersecurity Analyst – AI Security Program & Operations 100% Remote 

AltaGas is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support delivery of the AI Cybersecurity Program and broader Cybersecurity operational initiatives.

This role will provide technical analysis, documentation, vendor evaluation support, operational readiness activities, security monitoring enhancements, and cybersecurity program support across multiple workstreams.

The successful candidate will work across Cybersecurity Operations, Identity, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Digital teams to support successful execution of cybersecurity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Program Support

  • Support delivery of AI Cybersecurity Program objectives and workstreams.
  • Assist with business requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Support vendor evaluations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Participate in technical workshops and solution reviews.

Operational Support

  • Assist with implementation of cybersecurity capabilities and technologies.
  • Support security monitoring and operational readiness activities.
  • Contribute to development of operational procedures, playbooks, and standards.
  • Support transition-to-operations activities.

Security Analysis

  • Perform technical analysis of cybersecurity risks and security controls.
  • Assist with validation and testing of security solutions.
  • Support threat detection, monitoring, and incident response initiatives.
  • Assist with security reporting and metrics.

Documentation & Governance

  • Develop technical documentation and process documentation.
  • Assist with governance, risk, and compliance activities.
  • Support reporting to cybersecurity leadership.
  • Maintain project and operational artifacts.

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of cybersecurity experience.
  • Experience in one or more of:
    • Security Operations
    • Vulnerability Management
    • Identity & Access Management
    • Security Engineering
    • Security Governance
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and Crowdstrike technologies preferred
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and initiatives simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant Cybersecurity certifications
  • Experience supporting large cybersecurity programs.
  • Experience within critical infrastructure, energy, or utility environments.
