Zensar is looking for a DevOps System Administrator in the United States.
About the Role
- Expertise in OpenShift, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform to join our infrastructure and operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, automating, and optimizing cloud-native environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of mission-critical applications.;
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Deploy, configure, and maintain systems on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Manage Kubernetes-based container orchestration using OpenShift.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions across environments.
Automation & CI/CD
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
- Ensure seamless integration of development and operations workflows.
System Administration
- Manage Linux-based servers and networking components.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize system reliability.
Security & Compliance
- Implement cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
- Manage IAM roles, policies, and access controls across AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments.
Collaboration
- Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to support application lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in DevOps System Administrator.
- Strong experience with OpenShift (installation, configuration, cluster management).
- Hands-on expertise with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation) and Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM).
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelors /Master s Degree Information Technology
