Job#: 3017208 Job Description: This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud service providers. The position requires strong hands-on experience with cloud networking, DevOps practices, and secure, scalable architecture patterns. The engineer will collaborate closely with application teams, architects, and security partners to deliver reliable and resilient cloud solutions.
Core Responsibilities- Design, build, and support cloud infrastructure with a strong understanding of cloud compute, sizing, data flows, and inter-service communication across hybrid, on-premises, and multi-cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain DevOps CI/CD pipelines and orchestration workflows.
- Integrate and manage third-party PaaS/SaaS tools within cloud environments.
- Implement architectures that support regional redundancy, availability zones, and fault-tolerant design.
- Apply security best practices across network paths, public endpoints, and service exposure.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support scalable and secure cloud deployments.
- Utilize advanced DevOps tooling and pipeline orchestration to streamline delivery.
Required Cloud ExpertiseMicrosoft Azure:
- Hands-on IaaS networking experience including VNet, UDR, NSG, internal load balancers, DNS, network virtual appliances, ExpressRoute with BGP, and global peering.
- Experience with Azure-native services such as API Management, Application Gateway, Function Apps with VNet integration, Azure Data Lake, Private DNS Zones, Azure Firewall, Virtual WAN, Private Endpoints, Service Endpoints, and Azure Load Balancers.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI):
- Hands-on IaaS networking experience including VCN, route tables, local peering gateways, dynamic routing gateways with route redistribution, inter-region traffic steering, Layer 4/7 load balancers, private DNS, network virtual appliances, FastConnect with BGP, and RPC.
- Experience with OCI private DNS patterns, application flows, and troubleshooting (including OCI Database, GoldenGate, and AI/ML services).
- Familiarity with Private Endpoints, Service Gateway, OCI IAM, compartments, and Landing Zone architecture.
Preferred QualificationsEquinix:
- Experience deploying Equinix Fabric, including network edge to cloud service providers, bring-your-own-connection models, and BGP-level routing.
Firewalls:
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto VM/NVA (active/active and active/passive) and Palo Alto Prisma.
Web Application Security:
- Experience with Imperva WAF including configuration, policy creation, bot protection, account takeover protection, DDoS tuning, site onboarding, certificate management, and CDN integration.
Routing and Switching:
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst WAN edge routers, Cisco CSR (1000v/8000v), Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco ThousandEyes, Cisco Smart Licensing, Arista spine/leaf architectures, and Juniper MX platforms.
DDI:
- Experience with Infoblox DDI and vNIOS.
