The Opportunity
StaffRight Associates is recruting for a specialist in the industrial machinery sector, currently seeking a talented Application Engineer to join their growing team in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. This high-impact role centers on the technical oversight of high-speed rotating equipment and offers an accelerated path toward broader leadership, with the potential to evolve rapidly into a General Management position overseeing the entire organization.
What You’ll Do
Direct the comprehensive operations of the service facility, ensuring peak efficiency and high-quality output.
Mentor a team of Repair Technicians, fostering professional growth and technical excellence among direct reports.
Synchronize regional service efforts by balancing workloads and strategically directing repairs to the most effective facility.
Collaborate with the Sales division to provide high-level technical expertise, addressing complex inquiries and developing accurate cost and timeline projections.
Analyze spindle failure modes, offering actionable insights for performance improvements and reliability enhancements.
Validate final evaluation reports by calculating costs for parts and labor to generate professional client quotes.
Optimize production schedules by assigning repairs based on individual technician proficiency and technical experience.
Audit finished repairs and documentation to confirm all work meets rigorous industry standards before final delivery.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent Electromechanical background).
2-10 Years of progressive professional experience.
Deep Proficiency in Super Precision Rolling Element Bearing engineering and complex applications.
Advanced Knowledge of High Speed Rotating Equipment and Mechanical Component Failure Analysis.
Specialized Expertise in Machine Tool Service, Machining, or Grinding processes.
Strong Capability in performing complex Engineering Calculations related to Rotating Equipment Machine Elements.
Exceptional Communication Skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on client service.
High Level of Motivation and a strong Ethical/Moral Character.
Organizational Mastery and a dedicated commitment to operational excellence.
Compensation & Total Rewards
Annual Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000.
