Position: Oracle Financials Functional Consultant (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and solutions-oriented Oracle Financials Functional Consultant to join our growing IT/Finance team. In this role, you will be the bridge between our business requirements and our Oracle ERP ecosystem. You will lead implementations, optimizations, and support across various Oracle Financial modules, ensuring our financial systems run seamlessly and scale effectively.

This is a Remote position, but requires occasional travel to our headquarters in St. Louis, MO for key project milestones, workshops, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Module Ownership: Act as the functional subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Expense management).

• Business Alignment: Partner with accounting and finance teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and map them to Oracle standard functionalities.

• Implementation & Configuration: Lead end-to-end functional configurations, system testing (UAT), user training, and post-production support.

• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex functional issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions or workarounds.

• Reporting & Analytics: Assist in designing and developing financial reports using Oracle standard reporting tools (e.g., OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio).

• Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams (developers, DBAs) to translate functional specs into technical designs for customizations and integrations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 10+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant specializing in Oracle ERP Cloud (Fusion) and/or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.

• Module Expertise: Deep hands-on configuration experience in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM).

• Project Lifecycle: Proven track record of participating in at least 2-4 full-lifecycle Oracle Financials implementations or major upgrades.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.

Nice-to-Haves

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Oracle Financials Cloud certifications.

• Experience with multi-currency and multi-ledger global environments.

Work Environment & Travel

• Location: 100% Remote (Must be based in the United States).

• Travel: Occasional travel to St. Louis, MO (estimated at 10-15%, typically for kickoff meetings, major deployments, or quarterly strategy sessions).
