Description
We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Schaumburg, Illinois. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, excels in managing system operations and security, and provides exceptional support to end users. The position offers a balanced mix of help desk responsibilities and systems administration tasks, requiring expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other related technologies.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Active Directory, including implementing security policies and configuring group policies.
Administer Microsoft 365 security and compliance tools, including Intune, to ensure data protection and system integrity.
Provide end-user support for Windows operating systems and Citrix technologies, addressing technical issues and resolving tickets.
Harden server operating systems by applying local and network security measures.
Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues to minimize downtime and improve performance.
Collaborate with team members to enhance system functionality and implement best practices.
Monitor and maintain AWS technologies for efficient cloud-based operations.
Document processes and create guidelines for system maintenance and user support.
Conduct regular assessments of system security and compliance to identify areas for improvement.
Assist with the deployment and configuration of enterprise-level applications.
Requirements
Proficiency in managing Active Directory, including group policy implementation and server hardening.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security tools, including Intune.
Experience supporting Windows Server and Windows 10 operating systems.
Familiarity with Citrix technologies and end-user computing environments.
Understanding of cloud-based solutions, particularly AWS technologies.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Skilled in documenting workflows and creating user guidelines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and end users.
