Description
We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to manage and optimize our technology infrastructure in Plymouth, Minnesota. In this role, you will ensure the seamless operation of computer systems and servers while addressing hardware and software issues to minimize disruptions. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing system performance and supporting the organization's technological needs.
Responsibilities:
Configure, maintain, and ensure the reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and network equipment.
Install and upgrade hardware and software components while automating processes to improve efficiency.
Perform diagnostics to identify and resolve hardware and software errors, documenting solutions for future reference.
Monitor system performance, execute backups, and ensure all equipment meets operational standards.
Research and evaluate vendor products and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
Develop user training materials and provide guidance on software and hardware usage.
Implement and oversee backup operations, disaster recovery plans, and data protection procedures.
Plan for storage capacity, database performance, and overall system scalability.
Collaborate with vendors to address defective hardware or software issues and request services.
Assist internal users with troubleshooting computer systems and escalate unresolved issues to management.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Systems Administrator role.
Proficiency in Active Directory and Windows Server.
Hands-on experience with Windows 10 and Office 365.
Strong skills in desktop and hardware troubleshooting.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
Knowledge of Meraki networking solutions.
Competency in laptop hardware maintenance and repair.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
