We are seeking a
Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a team building mission-critical applications that directly support
workplace safety and employee well-being. This role focuses on developing and enhancing a web-based platform used to help associates transition into
safe, alternative work environments, reducing injury risk while streamlining internal processes.
This is an opportunity to work on
high-impact software with real-world outcomes, while contributing to a modern full-stack architecture and exploring future
AI-driven enhancements to simplify documentation and operational workflows.
What You'll Be Working On
- Designing and building new product features for a production web application
- Developing across the full stack:
- Frontend: ReactJS
- Backend: Java, Spring, Spring Boot
- Delivering work in bi-weekly agile sprints
- Collaborating closely with engineers, product partners, and stakeholders
- Taking ownership of assigned tickets from design through deployment
- Reviewing, testing, and improving code written by peers
- Proactively identifying and resolving ambiguous requirements
- Producing clear technical documentation to support long-term scalability

Required Qualifications
- Strong experience building web applications using ReactJS
- Backend expertise with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Experience developing distributed systems
- Solid understanding of:
- Object-oriented design
- Design patterns
- SQL / JDBC
- Comfortable working in an Agile / Scrum environment
- Proven ability to own features end-to-end and collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to work remotely or hybrid while being local to Nashville
Nice to Have
- Experience with enterprise or regulated systems (health, safety, HR, operations)
- Exposure to automation, workflow tools, or AI-supported processes
- History of mentoring, code reviews, or technical leadership on projects
