Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions leveraging Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This role will be responsible for driving cloud strategy, architecture governance, and best practices across OCI environments. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in cloud architecture, security, networking, and Oracle-native services, with a strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure cloud solutions

Key Responsibilities

•           Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on OCI.

•           Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premise or other cloud platforms to OCI.

•           Define OCI architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.

•           Implement networking architectures (VCNs, subnets, load balancers, VPNs, FastConnect).

•           Architect and manage compute, storage, and database services (Autonomous DB, Exadata Cloud).

•           Develop disaster recovery and high availability strategies.

•           Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

•           Ensure security and compliance using OCI-native tools (IAM, Vault, Security Zones).

•           Optimize cloud cost, performance, and resource utilization.

•           Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.

•           Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and business leaders.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in cloud architecture or infrastructure engineering.

•           3+ years of hands-on experience with OCI.

•           Strong knowledge of:

o          Cloud networking and security principles

o          Compute, storage, and database services in OCI

o          Hybrid cloud architectures

•           Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred).

•           Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).

•           Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

•           Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks.
