Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Hardware Validation Engineer to support customer validation activities across pre-silicon and post-silicon bring-up. The engineer will be responsible for board bring-up, hardware debugging, power validation, and validation of low-speed interfaces such as I2C, SPI, and UART.

This role requires strong hands-on experience working with hardware validation boards, silicon bring-up, board-level power validation, and debugging issues in a lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware board bring-up and debug for customer validation platforms.
• Support pre-silicon and post-silicon validation
• Perform power validation at both board and silicon levels.
• Validate and debug voltage regulator / power supply circuits.
• Perform validation of low-speed interfaces including I2C, SPI, UART, and other basic I/O interfaces.
• Troubleshoot hardware, power, signal, and interface-related issues during board bring-up.
• Support PDVT and EDVT validation activities.
• Work closely with hardware, silicon, firmware, and validation teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Analyze validation failures and help determine root cause.
• Develop and execute validation test cases and document test results.
• Use lab equipment and debugging tools to isolate hardware issues.
• Support customer deliverables and provide clear validation status, issues, and technical findings.
• Use Python or similar scripting for basic test automation where required.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers and help drive validation activities to completion.

Required Skills

• 8 10 years of hands-on Hardware Validation experience.
• Strong experience in hardware board bring-up and debugging.
• Strong experience with board-level power validation.
• Experience with pre-silicon and post-silicon validation.
• Experience with PDVT / EDVT.
• Hands-on experience validating voltage regulators / power circuits.
• Good knowledge of I2C, SPI, UART, and low-speed I/O validation.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Basic Python scripting/automation experience is desirable.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of validation deliverables.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in ASIC/SoC silicon validation, hardware validation, board bring-up, power management validation, or semiconductor product validation are highly relevant.
