Role Overview
As a Data Center Technician, you will be a primary resolver for the support team. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware infrastructure issues. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation on supported technologies and effectively passing down knowledge to junior staff members.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware infrastructure issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Train and mentor junior technicians.
- Perform remote system administration tasks as part of a virtual team.
- Automate tasks using scripts where necessary.
- Work autonomously to resolve most support issues.
- Execute small projects independently and collaborate on larger projects with management.
- Act as the initial escalation point for junior technicians.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience as a primary resolver in a technical support team.
Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate system administration skills are required. Candidates should possess the ability to automate tasks with scripts.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $20.00 to $30.00 per hour. Please note that the final pay rate will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and the specific requirements of the role.
