Job Title: Solution Architect

Job Description:

Requirement/Must Have:

SaaS.
iPaaS/ESB.
One major cloud platform.
Identity and access management.
Compliance-aware design for regulated data.

Experience:

8+ years in software engineering.
4+ years in solution architecture for enterprise systems.
Proven record of designing end-to-end solutions across SaaS, custom applications, and integrations.
Experience translating business goals into target state architectures and incremental roadmaps.
Hands-on experience integrating SaaS platforms using REST, webhooks, GraphQL, and event streaming.
Familiarity with iPaaS/ESB platforms.
Experience with API management, versioning, and throttling.
Depth in at least one major cloud platform, including networking, identity, storage, and managed services.
Experience with SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and RBAC/ABAC authorization patterns.
Experience with compliance-aware design for regulated data.
Participation in governance activities such as architecture reviews, risk assessments, and threat modeling.

Responsibilities:

Architect and design integration patterns for SaaS platforms, internal systems, and external partners.
Develop end-to-end solution proposals covering functional design, data flows, security, and operational requirements.
Create and maintain architecture diagrams, interface catalogs, and technical specifications.
Conduct buy versus build analysis considering architecture fit, cost factors, implementation effort, and long-term maintainability.
Assess SaaS platform capabilities against business needs and integration requirements.
Review vendor roadmaps and highlight risks or gaps relevant to compliance-sensitive processes.
Provide architectural oversight for configuration, customization, and data extraction strategies.
Contribute to enterprise target-state architecture and provide technical leadership to development teams.
Perform occasional code reviews and guide coding best practices.
Develop and maintain domain-level architecture landscape views, including logical, security, and deployment diagrams for current and target states.
Define and validate integration and data architecture using APIs, event streams, ETL pipelines, and workflow automation.
Align designs with access control models, audit needs, and data privacy requirements.
Support architecture reviews, risk assessments, and technical approvals.
Collaborate with Scrum teams during refinement, sprint planning, and technical decision-making.
Provide solution oversight through development, testing, and release planning.
Communicate architecture decisions, trade-offs, and impacts to business and technical stakeholders.
Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including architecture decision records and reusable patterns.
Present and obtain approval on solution designs from governance bodies.

Should Have:

Experience reviewing vendor roadmaps and identifying compliance risks.
Strong ability to influence platform strategy and recommend improvements.
Experience in maintaining logical, security, and deployment architecture views.

Skills:

API design and integration patterns.
Cloud architecture and cloud-native services.
Identity and access management.
Data modeling and data governance.
Architecture documentation and technical writing.
Stakeholder communication and collaboration.

Qualification and Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
