Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – onsite preferred 2–3 days/week)

Role Summary

We are seeking an Application Platform / DevOps Engineer to support the IT organization of a Japanese financial services firm. This role focuses on application platform operations, DevOps enablement, and development support, working with multiple application teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for application platforms, including troubleshooting and incident response

• Support application development and coordinate with multiple application teams

• Manage CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and container-based environments

• Support frequent application releases in an Agile environment

• Use GitHub for source control and application support

• Support front- and middle-office applications across the Americas

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience across application platform operations, development support, and migrations

• Strong understanding of the full SDLC (minimum two end-to-end cycles)

• Agile delivery experience with frequent releases

• Strong communication skills in English

Preferred

• Experience with GitHub/GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes

• AWS and/or Azure exposure

• Financial services experience

• Japanese language skills a plus
