MDM Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical direction and leadership to project teams and participate in project planning sessions with clients and IT management.
• Design and evaluate technical solutions, including resolving highly complex architectural and implementation challenges.
• Develop and present architectural designs, documentation, and technical presentations.
• Implement and support modern device management solutions including Windows 11, Intune, Autopilot, Co-management, and related technologies.
• Design and deploy modern authentication solutions and endpoint security controls such as Windows Hello, Credential Guard, and Defender ATP.
• Lead implementation and management of Windows 365 Cloud PC and support migration from on-premises environments to cloud-based solutions.
• Perform AD GPO to CSP migration and manage hybrid identity environments using Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Develop and execute application, patch, and update deployment strategies.
• Provide engineering support for endpoint security including disk encryption, antivirus, and anti-malware solutions.
• Create dashboards and custom reports using Microsoft Graph API.
• Define strategy and roadmap for end-user computing environments, including evaluation of emerging technologies.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for end-user device solutions, configurations, and processes.
• Ensure adherence to change management and incident management policies to mitigate risk and ensure consistency.
• Act as the highest level of escalation for end-user technical issues.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical training and guidance.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance solutions and strategies.

Required Skills And Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in Modern Device Management (MDM) technologies, including Intune, Autopilot, and enterprise endpoint management.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior or lead engineering role.
• Strong experience with Windows system administration (Windows 7/10/11), including registry, file systems, services, and security.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Azure AD in hybrid environments.
• Expertise in scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, and WMI.
• Experience with Microsoft Graph API and automation scripting.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint security including BitLocker encryption and browser security configurations.
• Experience with GPO to CSP migration and cloud PC implementations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise hardware and end-user computing environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and architectural design skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with third-party endpoint management and automation tools.
• Exposure to advanced endpoint analytics and privilege management solutions.
• Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and future-ready end-user computing environments.
