Overview:

This is a strategic creative leadership role with a strong point of view and the ability to guide teams toward impactful, brand-defining work.

The Creative Associate Director provides senior leadership across creative execution, overseeing integrated campaigns, brand expression, sales excellence, events, motion, and creative enablement.

The role balances vision with pragmatism, leads through influence rather than hands-on execution, and brings clarity to complex, global creative ecosystems.

Accountable for creative quality, consistency, and performance across regions and channels, this role focuses on direction, governance, and orchestration aligning diverse, distributed teams around a shared creative standard.

Responsibilities:

Set the creative vision, standards, and success criteria across all major creative disciplines

Act as the primary decision-maker for creative direction, quality, and prioritization within assigned initiatives, escalating only where enterprise alignment is required

Establish and maintain creative governance models that define decision rights, escalation paths, and quality standards across regions and teams

Lead on-shore and off-shore creative teams by providing clear direction, fostering collaboration, and ensuring consistent quality

Provide leadership, coaching, and development for creative managers and leads, contributing to succession planning and long-term capability growth

Partner closely with Corporate Brand leaders to align creative priorities, workflows, and expectations

Serve as a senior creative advisor to marketing and business leaders, advocating for creative excellence while balancing business priorities

Partner with stakeholders to shape creative demand, prioritize initiatives, and ensure briefs are strategic, clear, and aligned to capacity and impact

Translate brand and business strategy into clear creative frameworks, briefs, and guidance for teams and partners

Ensure cohesion across creative disciplines by aligning campaign, sales, event, motion, and enablement work into a unified creative experience

Lead integrated campaign creative development by guiding concept development, reviewing work for effectiveness, and applying learnings to continuously elevate performance

Review and approve creative work to ensure it meets brand, accessibility, and quality standards

Oversee the creative lifecycle from intake through delivery, optimization, and reuse to support scalable, efficient creative operations

Oversee agency and vendor relationships, ensuring output is on-strategy, on-brand, and delivered to a high standard

Champion scalable creative systems, templates, and enablement models that support global consistency

Drive innovation across creative workflows, including adoption of new tools, AI-enabled processes, and improved ways of working

Lead teams through change by introducing new processes, tools, and approaches that improve creative quality and efficiency

Balance creative ambition with operational realities, timelines, and available resources

Qualifications:

6+ years of experience as a Creative or Associate Creative Director

Experience working on a large corporate visual identity or design team or at a major creative agency

Experience supporting large financial services, pharma, healthcare, or other regulated companies

Strong experience working across modern channels and campaigns including social media, TV, Out of Home, website, and PPC/Paid advertising.

Ability to be a creative strategist, perform hands-on design and writing, and act as a stakeholder & project manager.

Expertise using Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, and PM tools like Clickup or Asana to perform hands-on design

Interview Process:

30 minute technical interview with Creative Director

30 minute interview with Team Lead
