SAP BRIM Convergent Invoicing (CI) Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP BRIM Convergent Invoicing (CI) Functional Analyst with strong expertise in Lead-to-Cash / Quote-to-Cash processes within XaaS revenue models.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on configuration experience across SAP BRIM modules including:

• Convergent Invoicing (CI)

• Subscription Order Management (SOM)

• Convergent Charging (CC)

• Convergent Mediation (CM)

• FI-CA

• S/4HANA Integration

This role requires a strong functional consultant who can translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP BRIM solutions and drive adoption of standard SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Functional & Solution Design

• Gather and analyze business requirements; participate in story grooming and design workshops

• Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications

• Perform fit-gap analysis against standard SAP CC/CI capabilities

• Drive adoption of standard SAP BRIM processes

• Design scalable billing architectures supporting evolving XaaS revenue models

Configuration & Implementation (Hands-On Required)

• Configure Convergent Invoicing (CI) including:

  • Consumption Item Classes

  • Billable Item (BIT) Types & Classes

  • Billing & Invoicing Processes

  • Billing Plans (Upfront, Recurring, Usage-Based)

  • Partner Settlement Configuration

• Integrate CI with:

  • Subscription Order Management (SOM)

  • Convergent Charging (CC)

  • Convergent Mediation (CM)

  • FI-CA

• Work with SAP FQ Events for BIT enrichment, billing documents, and invoice enhancements

• Manage provider orders and provider contracts

• Support transports across SAP landscapes (Solution Manager)

Quote-to-Cash Expertise

• Strong understanding of end-to-end Lead-to-Cash / Quote-to-Cash processes:

  • Master Data

  • Product Modeling

  • Solution Quotes

  • Orders

  • Provider Contracts

  • Billing & Revenue Integration

• Experience with subscription-based and usage-based billing models

• RAR integration experience is a plus

Testing & Delivery

• Prepare and execute unit testing

• Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments

• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Support)

• Deliver solutions within timelines and budget

Leadership & Communication

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops

• Communicate effectively with business and technical teams

• Work independently in fast-paced environments

• Champion IT governance and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required)

• 10+ years of SAP experience

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP BRIM experience

• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP BRIM implementations

• Strong hands-on configuration experience in Convergent Invoicing

• Experience supporting XaaS revenue models

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred / Nice to Have

• SAP CI or SAP BRIM Certification

• Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR)

• Knowledge of BAPIs, Business Events, User-Exits in CI

• S/4HANA integration expertise

• Experience in high-tech / subscription-based industries
