Job Title: Senior CA Gen Engineer Mainframe Modernization
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract to Hire W2
Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience with CA Gen (Broadcom Gen, COOL: Gen), including runtime framework and model internals
5+ years of COBOL software development experience
Strong understanding of CA Gen-generated COBOL code
Proven experience with mainframe application modernization or migration projects
Ability to translate legacy application logic into clear, detailed specifications for modern system replacement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with legacy codebases
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
