Location: San Antonio, Texas
Schedule: 5x days a week onsite

Role Overview
This position requires an individual to serve as a member of an Agile Scrum team. The role involves conducting manual testing of code changes for a mobile application, including pre-release regression testing. The Mobile QA Tester will also assist developers with writing unit test cases and integrating test-driven development (TDD) practices, working on either the iOS or Android platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently conduct a wide range of quality-control tests and analyze results to ensure software meets specified standards.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure proper test planning for all work items.
- Create test data, execute test cases, and document defects.
- Track defects to resolution within the defined timeframe.
- Conduct pre-release regression testing as required.
- Work with software development teams to troubleshoot and remediate issues.
- Maintain proactive communication with team members, the Tech Lead, Scrum Master, and Product Owner.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 2+ years in manual regression testing of native applications (iOS or Android).
- 2+ years serving as part of an Agile Scrum or Kanban team.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency with IDEs such as Xcode or Android Studio.
- Knowledge of Git, Jira, and qTest.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of familiarity with mobile testing automation frameworks.
- Experience with Appium.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay rate for this position is $40.00 per hour. Please note that the pay rate may be adjusted based on the specific contract, project, or work location. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and sick leave.
