Description: Role Summary The Enterprise Architect will support business units by developing business capability models, customer journey maps, IT strategies, technology standards, and enterprise architecture artefacts that align with organisational objectives. The role is focused on cloud modernisation, AI/ML initiatives, Generative AI, Virtual Assistants, and Robotic Process Automation while providing architectural governance and strategic technology leadership.
Key Responsibilities - Facilitate business and IT strategic planning sessions with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams.
- Create and maintain IT strategies, technology standards, architectural guidelines, and roadmaps.
- Provide enterprise and solution architecture guidance for new and ongoing initiatives.
- Lead technology evaluations, market research, proof-of-concept activities, and emerging technology assessments.
- Develop business capability models, customer journey maps, and enterprise architecture artefacts.
- Support cloud modernisation efforts and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture governance.
- Provide consultation on AI, Generative AI, Virtual Assistants, Conversational UI, and RPA initiatives.
- Collaborate across business and IT functions to drive enterprise-wide solutions and strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications - 5-7+ years of IT experience with at least 2 years of Enterprise Architecture experience and 2 years of Solution Architecture experience.
- Technical leadership experience delivering AI implementations including Generative AI, Virtual Assistants, and RPA solutions.
- Experience providing Enterprise Architecture governance for cloud modernisation programmes.
- Solution Architecture experience across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation technologies such as UiPath.
- Exposure to multiple technologies, platforms, and processing environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, strategic consulting, communication, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications - TOGAF Certification.
- Enterprise Architecture experience using ABACUS EA.
- Master's degree in a related discipline.
- Experience developing strategic technology plans, capability models, and customer journey maps
