Job Description:

Must have strong AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join a dynamic technology team on a 6-month contract basis. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and services with a primary focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments in AWS and OCI.
• Implement and manage cloud services including compute, networking, storage, identity and access management, monitoring, and security solutions.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and other automation tools.
• Automate cloud provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to support cloud modernization initiatives and application migrations.
• Monitor cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimization recommendations.
• Configure and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS-native services, or similar DevOps platforms.
• Ensure cloud environments adhere to security, governance, compliance, and operational best practices.
• Perform cloud cost management, resource optimization, and capacity planning across AWS and OCI environments.
• Document cloud architectures, standards, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related technical roles.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting and engineering solutions within AWS environments.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including networking, compute, storage, security, and identity services.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security architecture, IAM, monitoring, and disaster recovery concepts.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with automation and scripting using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience implementing cloud security best practices and governance controls.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
