Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Cloud Engineer with 1–4 years of professional experience to support the design, implementation, automation, and maintenance of modern cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, along with knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containerization, cloud networking, monitoring, security, and automation.
This role will work closely with Software Engineering, DevOps, Security, and IT teams to build and maintain secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective cloud environments.
About the Role
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying and managing cloud infrastructure, automating operational processes, supporting application deployments, monitoring cloud environments, and troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
You will contribute to cloud migration and modernization initiatives while helping engineering teams adopt reliable DevOps and cloud-native practices.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with Docker and exposure to Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking concepts
- Experience with VPC/VNet, subnets, DNS, routing, load balancers, VPNs, and security groups
- Knowledge of IAM, RBAC, encryption, secrets management, and cloud security
- Experience working with Linux/Unix environments
- Scripting experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with Git and version-control systems
- Understanding of cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering and IT teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ECS, or EKS
- Experience with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, VNets, Azure Monitor, AKS, or Azure Functions
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, GKE, Cloud SQL, or Cloud Monitoring
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of Ansible, CloudFormation, or Bicep
- Exposure to Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK
- Understanding of microservices and cloud-native architectures
- Experience with cloud cost optimization and resource management
- Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies
- Cloud certification such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, or Terraform Associate
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Provision and manage cloud resources using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Configure and manage cloud networking components including VPCs, VNets, subnets, routing, DNS, and load balancers
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls including IAM, RBAC, security groups, encryption, and secrets management
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, performance, and availability
- Configure logging, metrics, dashboards, alerts, and incident monitoring
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, deployment, networking, and performance issues
- Support cloud migration and infrastructure modernization projects
- Identify opportunities to improve cloud performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps engineers to improve application deployment processes
- Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures
- Follow cloud security, compliance, and infrastructure best practices
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure
Education
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field is preferred.
