Job Details

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance, reliability, and facilities activities within our growing manufacturing operation. This leader will be responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, improving plant reliability, managing capital projects, and developing a high-performing maintenance team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience within food, beverage, consumer packaged goods, or other highly automated manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • \tLead all maintenance, reliability, facilities, and utility operations across the plant.
  • \tDevelop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
  • \tDrive equipment uptime, OEE improvement, and asset reliability initiatives.
  • \tManage and mentor maintenance technicians, supervisors, contractors, and external service providers.
  • \tEstablish KPIs and maintenance metrics to improve operational performance.
  • \tOversee CMMS utilization, work order management, spare parts inventory, and maintenance planning.
  • \tPartner with Operations, Quality, Safety, and Engineering teams to support production goals.
  • \tLead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action initiatives for equipment failures.
  • \tDevelop and manage departmental budgets, maintenance spending, and capital improvement projects.
  • \tEnsure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • \tSupport installation, startup, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and production lines.
  • \tDrive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and reliability best practices.
  • \tManage facility infrastructure including HVAC, compressed air, electrical distribution, refrigeration, water systems, and other plant utilities.

Qualifications
  • \tBachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or related field preferred.
  • \t5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • \tExperience managing maintenance teams in food, beverage, consumer products, packaging, or related manufacturing environments.
  • \tStrong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • \tExperience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning.
  • \tKnowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, automation systems, motors, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • \tProven success leading reliability improvement initiatives and reducing downtime.
  • \tStrong project management and capital equipment implementation experience.
  • \tExcellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • \tLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or Reliability certifications are a plus.

Preferred Experience
  • \tFood, beverage, consumer packaged goods, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • \tAutomated processing, packaging, batching, mixing, conveying, or high-speed production equipment.
  • \tMulti-shift manufacturing leadership experience.
  • \tExperience supporting facility expansions and high-growth manufacturing operations.
