Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Associate Quality Control for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in West Greenwich, RI. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for activities including microbiology and analytical testing, sample and data management, and equipment and instrumentation operation and maintenance in a highly dynamic, team environment. The role involves performing environmental monitoring, water sampling and testing, and sample collection to support GMP operations.
Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM (10-hour shift schedule). This position is fully onsite.
Responsibilities: - Perform sample collection and sample handling to support GMP operations and Environmental/Water monitoring
- Perform testing and possible data review per site and company methods and SOPs
- Generate complete, accurate, and concise laboratory documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks
- Operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment and instrumentation
- Participate in laboratory investigations and audits as necessary
- Perform general laboratory housekeeping activities
- Maintain training compliance and proficiency
- At all times, comply with safety guidelines, cGMPs/CFRs and other applicable regulatory requirements
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a science-related field
- OR Associate's degree and 4 years of experience
- OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience
- General lab background with GDP/GMP experience
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desired skills: - Previous lab experience is preferred
Pay range: up to $33.55 per hour
