Job Details

Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time, M-F

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Required Experience:

5+ years of board-level hardware design experience (7+ years preferred).
Strong experience designing mixed-signal hardware.
Experience developing wireless or RF products.
Proficiency using Altium Designer.
Strong laboratory debugging skills.
Experience with prototype development through production.
Experience managing BOMs, ECOs, revision control, and hardware documentation.

What You'll Do:

Lead board-level hardware design from architecture through production.
Design mixed-signal systems including high-speed digital, analog, power management, and wireless circuits.
Develop schematics and oversee PCB layout.
Perform board bring-up, validation, debugging, and system characterization.
Troubleshoot signal integrity, power integrity, EMI, RF, and system-level hardware issues.
Manage prototype builds and coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors.
Lead DFM and DFT reviews.
Support FCC and CE compliance testing.
Improve hardware lifecycle processes including BOM management, revision control, ECOs, and documentation.
Own hardware development activities from prototype through production.
