Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues across industrial production machinery.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, adjustments, and component replacements.
Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, including conveyors, motors, presses, printing systems, packaging machinery, and related equipment.
Assist with machinery installations, equipment relocations, upgrades, and production line modifications.
Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and electrical systems to minimize unplanned downtime.
Perform general facility maintenance involving electrical, plumbing, and structural repairs.
Fabricate, weld, and modify mechanical components, tooling, fixtures, and equipment as needed.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and workplace safety.
Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, and safe maintenance practices.
Coordinate replacement parts and maintenance supplies to support efficient repair operations.
Work closely with production and operations teams to address equipment concerns and maintain manufacturing schedules.

Qualifications:
Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild industrial equipment.
Working knowledge of electrical systems, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmission.
Experience maintaining conveyors, presses, packaging equipment, printing machinery, or similar industrial systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
Welding, metal fabrication, or machining experience is highly desirable.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and industrial safety procedures.
Ability to independently diagnose equipment failures and implement effective repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with production and maintenance personnel.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training, journeyman credentials, or relevant certifications preferred.

Preferred Experience:
Corrugated packaging, paper converting, printing, or related manufacturing environments.
Flexographic printing equipment, folder gluers, bundlers, banding systems, and industrial presses.
Equipment installation, fabrication, and machinery modification.
