For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive plan.

The responsibilities of the GOS Technical Support Engineer are to ensure that our North American GOS customers enjoy long-term satisfaction with our Grid Operation solutions.
Job description:
Member of the Technical Support Team for North American GOS customers
Deep and personal customer relationship and collaboration while supporting the GOS product lifecycle
Accountable for maintaining and troubleshooting: large-scale complex operation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance for customer-specific software solutions
Acting as a true customer advocate to internal support and development teams while working to resolve complex technical software issues
Helping system administrators during issue investigation and resolution (off-site and on-site troubleshooting)
Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and sub-contractors
Thorough documentation of all customer interactions including troubleshooting tasks and results
Maintain knowledge base of resolution paths and known issues accessible both internally and externally
Support 24x7 critical clients via on-call rotation
The ideal candidate for this position should have following key skills/experience:
Must have previous experience supporting enterprise software solutions
Basic knowledge about distributed software architecture
Advanced knowledge of hardware, OS management, virtualization, networking, security, IT operations and automation, data management
Bachelor of Science degree in CS or CIS preferred. Relevant job experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree
Minimum of 1-3 years' experience working with and maintaining SCADA systems. Experience with EcoStruxure ADMS 3.x is highly beneficial.
Understanding of Industrial Communication Protocols: Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and ICCP is beneficial
Networking skills: Basic understanding of IT networking concepts including TCP/IP, firewalls, switches, and routers is necessary as SCADA systems often need to interface with other networks
Safety-conscious: Familiarity with industry safety standards and a commitment to always adhere to safety protocols
Must possess excellent analytical, problem solving, researching skills
High level of professionalism in oral and written communication skills
Be independent, self-motivated, team player and have a people-oriented personality
Ability to manage overall technical support satisfaction of several key clients simultaneously
Must demonstrate the ability to interact with peers, management, and other departments in a professional manner
Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment
Passion for learning and continuous improvements
