We are looking for Senior Research and Development Scientist for our client in Summit, NJ

Job Title: Senior Research and Development Scientist

Job Location: Summit, NJ

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $30.94hr - $35.94hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in Consumer Products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with laboratory techniques, documentation, formulation development, and quality control methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and prepare batches of consumer health products according to established protocols and specifications.
  • Conduct experiments and trials to optimize formulations and improve product quality.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of batch formulations, processes, and results in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Ensure all records are up-to-date and easily retrievable for audits and quality assurance reviews.
  • Monitor and evaluate batch quality throughout the production process, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to investigate and resolve any discrepancies or product issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and production, to streamline processes and enhance product development.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing improvements in laboratory practices and methodologies.
  • Assist in the development of new products and formulations by conducting research and analyzing market trends.
  • Stay current with industry advancements and best practices to incorporate innovative techniques into the batch preparation process.
