We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical GIS Analyst with a passion for geospatial analysis and imagery interpretation to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys transforming aerial and satellite imagery into meaningful operational insights.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in geospatial analysis, a strong understanding of industry best practices for ground object recognition, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support critical operational and planning initiatives. This position requires strong technical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results.
100% Remote and preference will be given to candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone as the hours are Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm EST.

responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret aerial and satellite imagery to identify and document ground features, infrastructure, and land-use patterns.
- Utilize GIS tools and mapping technologies to support operational analysis, planning, and reporting activities.
- Review and validate geospatial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify residential and commercial land parcels, utility infrastructure, easements, and rights-of-way.
- Maintain detailed documentation, reports, and mapping records in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational objectives and project deliverables.
- Apply industry best practices and quality assurance standards in imagery analysis and geospatial workflows.
qualifications:
- Experience interpreting aerial and/or satellite imagery.
- Strong knowledge of GIS tools, mapping systems, and geospatial analysis practices.
- Understanding of residential and commercial land parcels, utility infrastructure, and rights-of-way.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and deliver results in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Equivalent professional experience in GIS analysis or imagery interpretation may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency with GIS software and mapping platforms.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
