Title: Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

Our government-aligned client is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to support automation-first infrastructure delivery across multi-cloud environments. This role focuses heavily on Terraform, Ansible, Linux administration, and CI/CD-driven infrastructure deployment, with responsibilities spanning infrastructure design, automation, containerization, and cloud platform operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience working across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform, a security-first mindset, and experience supporting scalable enterprise environments. Exposure to generative AI tooling within secure engineering workflows is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure-as-code automation using Terraform and Ansible
• Translate complex infrastructure requirements into structured technical plans and documentation
• Manage infrastructure repositories and change requests using GitLab (multi-repo environments)
• Deploy and operate containerized services using Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Implement monitoring, configuration management, and logging across multi-tenant, multi-cloud platforms
• Troubleshoot infrastructure connectivity, traffic flow, and performance issues across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Produce SOPs, technical bulletins, knowledge base articles, and customer-ready documentation
• Support secure infrastructure practices aligned with government/regulated environments
• Leverage approved generative AI tools to improve engineering workflow efficiency and accuracy

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Terraform experience in production-scale environments
• 5+ years of Ansible automation experience (roles/galaxy)
• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure / DevOps engineering experience
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform core services

• CI/CD pipeline experience (GitLab preferred)
