Hybrid 4 Days a week on-site in Santa Monica, CA

Our client seeks a Lead Technical Program Manager to drive commerce partnerships and integrations across direct-to-consumer products and subscription experiences. The role will lead cross-functional program execution with Engineering, Product, Operations, and external partners to deliver purchase paths, payment options, promotions, add-ons, churn reduction, and integration initiatives. The position may also support Baymax, the internal customer service platform, based on team capacity. The ideal candidate will manage multiple concurrent initiatives, understand technical systems at a practical level, and communicate clearly with business and engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive execution of high-priority, technically complex initiatives across the commerce ecosystem.
  • Develop integrated project plans, timelines, and dependency maps across teams.
  • Coordinate delivery with internal teams and external partners, ensuring accountability.
  • Identify risks early, manage dependencies, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Resolve blockers and escalations while maintaining program health visibility.
  • Deliver executive-ready status updates, risks, milestones, and recommendations.
  • Manage capacity planning, budget tracking, and program health metrics.
  • Support intake, prioritization, and governance with leadership recommendations.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to align on architecture, releases, and system interactions.
  • Facilitate build, testing, and release activities across teams.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement for team-of-teams delivery.
  • Coordinate with vendors and partners to support commerce integrations and partner programs.

Experience Requirements:
  • 7+ years managing large-scale software development programs.
  • Proven leadership of strategic, enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Expertise in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
  • Strong risk, dependency, and stakeholder management.
  • Executive-level communication and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical architectures and software delivery processes.
  • Experience coordinating development and release activities in partnership with engineering.
  • Background in DTC products, commerce platforms, subscription businesses, payment or billing systems, customer lifecycle, or partner integrations.

Education Requirements:
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience.
  • PMP, PgMP, Scrum, SAFe, or related certifications preferred.
