Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Functional Lead (MAS 9.x) with strong utilities domain experience to lead enterprise asset management initiatives. This role will drive functional design, configuration, and deployment of Maximo solutions across business units while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead functional design, configuration, and deployment of IBM Maximo (MAS 9.x)
Translate business requirements into:
Workflows
Asset structures
Job plans
Work management processes
Conduct solution design workshops with SMEs, business stakeholders, and technical teams
Own functional deliverables:
BRDs (Business Requirement Documents)
FDDs (Functional Design Documents)
Configuration specifications
Test scenarios
Partner with technical teams on:
Integrations
Data migration
Interface validations
Ensure alignment with enterprise asset management standards and compliance
Lead SIT/UAT planning, execution, and defect triage
Drive cutover, go-live, and hypercare support
Guide stakeholders on:
Maximo best practices
Process optimization
User adoption
Provide leadership to functional analysts and coordinate with cross-platform teams:
ERP
GIS
Mobile
Reporting
Required Skills
Strong experience with IBM Maximo MAS 9.x
Proven expertise as a Maximo Functional Lead
Hands-on experience in:
Work management
Asset management
Maintenance processes
Experience in Utilities domain (mandatory)
Strong knowledge of enterprise asset management (EAM)
Preferred Skills
Experience with Maximo integrations & data migration
Exposure to ERP, GIS, Mobile, and Reporting platforms
Strong understanding of testing (SIT/UAT) and release cycles
Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills
