Position Title - Electrical Engineer
Job Location - Mossville, IL, USA
Bill Rate Range - $36 to 38
Estimated Duration (In Months) - 13
Work Model - Onsite
Must have Skills/Attributes - Electrical Drawings, Sensory Testing, Test Plans, Troubleshooting
Shift - M-F, 8am - 5pm
Required Education:
• Bachelor''s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering or applicable engineering degree with experience)
• Internships do not count toward experience requirements
Technical Skills:
• Ability to create test plans, conduct environmental and performance tests, and create test reports for cameras or ADAS-type sensors
• Ability to troubleshoot and investigate technical issues using computer-aided tools, multimeters, and/or oscilloscopes at component or PCBA level
• Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations
• Ability to perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications
• Ability to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects
• Product experience in the electronics development world, particularly with camera or ADAS sensor technologies and application of the technology

Job Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and test the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting
• Evaluate the cost effectiveness, reliability, and safety of design models
• Estimate time and cost to complete projects
• Simulate and test machine/structure/system operation
• Investigate and test vendors'' and competitors'' products
• Responsible for performance tests – executed either in lab or in the field
• Responsible for environmental tests – executed in Caterpillar test facility or at third-party test facility in Chicago-land area
• Create test plans / test reports – executed in office environment and reviewed with senior engineers
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues related to camera components
• Requirements development – gathering voice of process partners, lessons learned, and documenting for review with senior engineers and process partners
