SAP Test Manager/ SAP TEST LEAD

• The SAP Test Manager / SAP Test Lead will be responsible for leading end-to-end quality assurance and testing activities across SAP environments.
• The role focuses on ensuring high-quality SAP deliverables through structured test strategies, automation frameworks, defect management, and coordination with cross-functional SAP and business teams, particularly within insurance domain environments.

Requirement/Must Have:

• 10+ years of SAP QA Manager or Test Lead experience.
• Strong experience in SAP FS-CD, FS-RI, SAP BP, Workflow, and FI-GL modules.
• Experience in SAP testing tools including TOSCA and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
• Strong experience in test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
• Experience in SAP integration testing with upstream systems.

Experience:

• Experience leading distributed QA teams across onshore and offshore locations.
• Experience in SAP test automation strategy design and implementation.
• Experience in creating, maintaining, and executing test cases and scripts.
• Experience in UAT support and stakeholder test result presentations.
• Experience in root cause analysis and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience in SAP production support, enhancements, and application maintenance.
• Experience with SAP ChaRM for release and deployment coordination.
• Experience working with integration systems such as Guidewire or similar platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Lead quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality SAP deliverables.
• Establish QA standards, best practices, and testing governance frameworks.
• Lead and mentor geographically distributed QA teams across onshore and offshore locations.
• Design and implement test automation strategy to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Develop, review, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute test cases and analyze results to ensure defect-free deliverables.
• Review test cases created by team members for completeness and accuracy.
• Document test execution results, scenarios, and outcomes in detail.
• Support and present testing results during UAT phases to stakeholders.
• Identify, track, and manage defects through resolution with development teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Define and monitor QA metrics including defect density, coverage, and automation progress.
• Provide regular reporting on QA progress, metrics, and defect status to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Coordinate with SAP BASIS and technical teams for production deployments and releases.

Should Have:

• Strong understanding of SAP integration with external systems such as Guidewire.
• Experience in SAP BAPI/RFC integrations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in insurance domain application maintenance and production support.

Skills:

• Strong SAP testing and QA leadership skills.
• Proficiency in SAP TOSCA automation tool and SAP Solution Manager.
• Strong analytical and defect management skills.
• Strong understanding of SAP functional modules (FS-CD, FS-RI, BP, FI-GL).
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Strong leadership and team mentoring abilities.

Qualification And Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive SAP QA and testing leadership experience in enterprise environments.
