Description
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst’s role is to develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures for IT services, including test planning, data analysis, and validation of IT processes. This role requires leadership-level experience and advanced QA expertise.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and establish QA measures and testing standards for applications and enhancements.
- Prepare and deliver reports addressing potential IT issues.
Acquisition & Deployment
- Liaise with vendors to assess systems under consideration.
- Analyze documentation and technical specifications for new applications.
Operational Management
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to QA standards.
- Create and execute test plans/scripts for functional and performance validation.
- Collaborate with teams on system, regression, load, and acceptance testing.
- Analyze test results to identify defects and issues.
- Candidate is required to attend nightly deployments as part of release and production support activities.
- Weekend deployment duties required as part of scheduled releases, production updates, or emergency deployments.
Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
- College diploma or university degree in software engineering, computer science, business administration, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA, software testing, or related IT quality disciplines.
- Experience as a lead tester for major releases.
- Strong knowledge of system testing methodologies.
- Direct experience with automated testing tools and reporting platforms.
- Extensive experience in data analysis, verification, and statistical reporting.
- Experience with project-based methodologies.
- Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
- API testing experience (REST/SOAP) with tools such as Postman and Swagger.
- SQL query writing and execution, including validation of data integrity, joins, stored procedures, and backend data validation.
- Database testing experience (relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Performance testing experience using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, or similar platforms.
- Preferred knowledge and use of automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Preferred knowledge and testing experience in Salesforce and E1 CRM systems.
- Preferred knowledge and testing experience in MuleSoft integration testing, including validating API-led connectivity, data transformations, and end-to-end integration flows.
- Preferred knowledge using Anypoint Studio for MuleSoft development, testing, debugging, and integration flow validation.

Work Conditions
- Hybrid work environment; must remain flexible as schedule may change based on organizational needs.
- Required participation in nightly deployments as part of release cycles.
- Required availability for weekend deployment duties as needed.
- Candidate is required to be online or in the office at a minimum from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Overtime should be expected during high-priority releases, production outages, critical testing cycles, or major project deadlines.
