Summary

We are looking for Assembler Associate II for our client in Abbott Park, IL
Job Title: Assembler Associate II
Job Location: Abbott Park, IL
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $17.91hr - $22.91hr

Responsibilities:

  • Construct multiple assemblies and sub-assemblies based on drawings and specifications.
  • Utilize basic math skills and interpret technical drawings to complete assembly tasks.
  • Operate automated equipment and use basic computer systems to support manufacturing processes.
  • Perform testing, inspection, and troubleshooting using fixtures and testing equipment.
  • Apply soldering skills as required within the functional area.
  • Use information from cross-functional sources to support work activities.
  • Participate in site-focused teams such as Safety, GMP, or ESD initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with Quality Systems and ensure effectiveness in all operations.
  • Meet departmental quality standards and production goals.
  • Follow company Code of Conduct and maintain expected performance standards.
  • Assist in training peers and support cross-training initiatives within the team.
  • Influence and collaborate with team members to improve workflow and productivity.

Required Skills And Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment (mandatory).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
  • Experience with documentation and quality compliance processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Basic computer and technical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with soldering and electronic/mechanical assembly.
  • Exposure to automated manufacturing equipment.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented with ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Leadership mindset with ability to train and support peers.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to influence team members positively and drive results.
