Summary

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle SQL & PL/SQL code for enterprise applications.
Perform query optimization and performance tuning to support high-volume data processing.
Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts and ETL processes
Work with large, business-critical datasets from internal and external sources.
Support reporting, data validation, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.

Required Skills:

Experience working with 10TB+ data sets (large, business-critical data environments with very low tolerance for errors).
Data is sourced from internal Oracle systems as well as external sources, with data moving across multiple systems and workflows.
10+ years of hands-on experience with:

Performance tuning (existing and new applications)
Oracle SQL & PL/SQL development
Unix shell scripting
Reporting tools
SQL Loader for ETL

Nice to Have:

Python
AWS
Data Analytics
Experience working with large-scale data sets
