Intern Program Overview

We are committed to building a strong talent pipeline by investing in early career professionals. Our internship and co-op programs provide mentorship, training, hands-on experience, and growth opportunities that empower students to explore their career paths with confidence. Summer interns work full-time (40 hours per week) from May through August. Candidates must be currently enrolled college students actively pursuing a degree to participate in the internship program.

Job Purpose

Design Engineering Intern for Hay products including round balers, disc mower conditioners and self-propelled windrowers. The position mission will be to support lead engineers with design projects for new and current product development, including working with design projects, prototype equipment, problem discovery and resolution, collaboration with manufacturing teams and product validation in our test labs or field environment.

Key Responsibilities

Development of new designs for Hay equipment projects

Root cause investigation and design solutions for current product issues, parts release into prototype shop

Design release of parts into CNH systems

Working with assembly teams for part fitup accuracy

Working with Validation team for functional and durability performance of part designs.

Experience Required

Agricultural or Mechanical engineering degree major

Starting Junior or Senior level completion maturity of degree

Demonstrated design project experience

Preferred Qualifications

Previous internships in similar work expectations

Understanding of Dairy and Beef customers and how Hay equipment supports their business

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $26.78 - $28.84 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
