Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Automation Lead with strong expertise in UiPath automation to lead automation initiatives for enterprise applications. The role requires hands-on automation leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to work across manual and automated testing. The role requires exposure to Energy & Utilities domain applications and Omnichannel platforms (web and mobile).
Responsibilities:
7 9 years of overall software testing experience with a strong focus on automation
Hands-on expertise in UiPath automation
Proven experience as an Automation Lead or Senior SDET, owning automation delivery
Strong understanding of manual testing fundamentals along with automation
Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration for UiPath automation
Knowledge of API testing and backend validations
Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments
Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (ALM, Jira or equivalent)
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in an onsite offshore delivery model
Lead automation strategy, design, and execution using UiPath
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks
Drive end-to-end automation coverage for functional, regression, and integration testing
Work closely with business, development, and operations teams to ensure quality deliverables
Act as the onsite QA/Automation lead, coordinating with offshore teams
Review automation code, enforce best practices, and ensure framework stability
Participate in test planning, estimation, execution, and defect management
Provide regular status updates, quality metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders
Support manual testing activities where required, especially for complex scenarios
Drive continuous improvement in automation efficiency, coverage, and execution time
Good to have:
Knowledge of Agile and DevOps testing practices.
Experience across industries such as Oil & Gas.
