Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer III to support the design, development, analysis, testing, and implementation of innovative mechanical systems and products. This role involves working on complex engineering projects throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development and detailed design to validation, production support, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in mechanical design, engineering analysis, and product development while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and support mechanical systems, components, and assemblies from concept through production.
  • Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and evaluations to ensure product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Utilize Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) and related engineering tools to support product development activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including electrical, systems, manufacturing, and quality engineering.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical recommendations to improve product performance and efficiency.
  • Apply industry-standard mechanical design practices, engineering methodologies, and manufacturing principles.
  • Support product testing, validation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis efforts.
  • Participate in design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, specifications, and quality requirements.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Typically 6+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, mechanics, materials, and product development processes.
  • Experience using Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), CAD, or related design tools.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with ASME Y14.5 standards.
  • Experience performing engineering simulations and analytical modeling.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design best practices and product development methodologies.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, assembly, and production operations.
  • Background in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, automotive, industrial equipment, or advanced technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with model-based engineering and digital product development environments.
