Role Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on, strategic VP of Product to lead the full vision, strategy, and execution of a next-generation TEM platform. This is a true player-coach role you will drive the product roadmap, work closely with engineering and design teams, and help build and scale a high-performing product organization.
This role operates at the intersection of product, technology, and business ownership. You will own the end-to-end product experience, help define monetization and go-to-market strategies, and act as the business leader for this platform as it scales into a high-growth SaaS offering. You will play a critical role in transforming an already validated product into a category-leading platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the complete product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a next-generation TEM platform, including evolution from services-supported delivery to a scalable SaaS and white-label model.
- Define and prioritize features, enhancements, and capabilities that deliver significant value to enterprise customers across IT, finance, and procurement personas.
- Leverage and stay deeply educated on AI technologies (machine learning, generative AI, agentic workflows, OCR/NLP, predictive analytics) to enhance platform intelligence and accelerate product development.
- Translate complex business requirements into product requirements, user stories, and technical execution plans; partner closely with engineering to drive sprint execution.
- Lead and scale a cross-functional team (Product, Design, Engineering, QA), with the ability to ramp teams quickly as product demand grows.
- Partner closely with sales and marketing teams on go-to-market strategy, pricing, packaging, and deal support across direct and partner/white-label channels.
- Engage directly with customers to gather feedback, validate product direction, and refine user experience; incorporate both formal and informal feedback loops.
- Champion product excellence across UX/UI, platform architecture, scalability, and multi-tenant design.
- Build and evolve product processes, governance, and documentation as the organization scales.
- Own key product metrics including adoption, retention, revenue impact, and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a visible leader and face of the product internally and externally.
- Operate as a true player-coach remaining hands-on while mentoring and building the product team.
- Identify and evaluate expansion opportunities into adjacent cost management domains over time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of product management experience, with 4-5+ years in a senior leadership role (VP/Head of Product or equivalent).
- Strong, hands-on experience in Telecom Expense Management (TEM) is required. Candidates must bring a deep understanding of telecom environments, carrier ecosystems, billing structures, and end-user personas.
- Experience with leading TEM platforms (e.g., Tangoe, Calero, or similar) and direct exposure to telecom estate management, invoice auditing, and optimization workflows is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of building and scaling complex B2B SaaS platforms from early stage through growth.
- Experience operating in a zero-to-one or early-scale environment with high ownership and limited initial resources.
- Deep experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance product capabilities and drive efficiency.
- Strong understanding of enterprise customer needs across IT, finance, procurement, and operations.
- Experience defining pricing models, packaging strategies, and SaaS monetization approaches.
- Strong technical acumen and experience working closely with engineering teams in agile environments.
- Experience with data-intensive platforms, including ingestion and normalization of structured/unstructured data.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - with the ability to influence

Compensation depends on experience but is typically $180-225K plus 20% bonus & equity potential
