This is a design engineering role with some supervisory requirements. The candidate will research, plan, and design mechanical and electromechanical products and systems, and direct and coordinate activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or
electromechanical products and systems.
Responsibilities Include:
Design new products and modify existing designs.
Assist in resolution of Manufacturing, Assembly, Outsourcing, Warranty and Rectification issues.
Provides guidance to manufacturing and assembly during initial new product build.
Actively research and analyze competitive offerings.
Confers with management, production, and marketing staff to determine engineering feasibility, required resources, cost effectiveness, and market demand for new products.
Maintains a working knowledge of new technologies which may improve product positioning and market competitiveness and develops recommendations accordingly.
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Very Strong Mechatronics Background
Experienced SolidWorks User
Packaging Equipment background a must
OEM equipment manufacturing strongly preferred.
Must be able to work independently and part of a team.
Strong multitasking skills a must.
